Devote One Day to Global Peace and Understanding

The United Nation’s mandate for “safeguarding peace, protecting human rights, establishing the framework for international justice and promoting economic and social progress” is not one the average person likely considers on a regular basis. However, on May 21, the UN urges us to act in a way that promotes understanding between cultures and communities worldwide.

May 21 is the UN World Day for Cultural Diversity, “an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the values of cultural diversity and to learn to live together better.” At a crucial time in global history, we must do our best to promote intercultural understanding and cooperation (for more information from the UN, click here).

RW3 CultureWizard is commemorating the UN World Day for Cultural Diversity with a special series of events designed to bring greater cultural understanding to all.

We encourage everyone to act on the UN’s request to “Do One Thing” to celebrate diversity by partaking in our 30-minute webinar that features experienced interculturalists who will share personal stories that shed light on what intercultural understanding is and how we can use it to be effective global professionals. Click here to register for the event, which is on May 21 at 11:00am Eastern US.

CultureWizard clients will find a new Cultural Treasure Hunt on their CultureWizard websites. This learning game engages players to solve cross-cultural business dilemmas around the world. In addition, CultureWizard users will have the opportunity to access all of our country-specific WorkingWith programs free-of-charge for the day of May 21. These innovative courses provide learners a deep understanding of how to best work with people from specific countries around the world. Click here for more details on these activities.

We hope you’ll join us to “Do One Thing” on May 21!
