Creating Effective Virtual Teams
According to a recent survey conducted by RW3 CultureWizard, 80% of respondents are on virtual teams and 40% of virtual teams underperform when compared to traditional, co-located teams. The survey, titled The Challenges of Working in Virtual Teams, found the key factors that impair virtual team's productivity are cultural differences, communication styles, time-zone differences, language and a lack of face-to-face contact.
